Alaska Adventures

I am sitting at home, back from Alaska and I’m completely exhausted! Lol! But it was so worth it! Alaska has always been on my list of places to visit, and I was blown away with it’s beauty. My husband wasn’t able to come, and I have a feeling we will be going back together one day, with Baby L!

Our first day was spent driving from Anchorage to Seward. This drive takes around 2 hours, we made it in 5 hours! Seward Hwy is a scenic route that has numerous markers along the way to stop and sight see. We planned on taking our time and stopping along the way, but I don’t think we planned on exactly how many times we would stop! Everything all around you is so stunning, it’s hard to not pull over and take it in. I think what blew me away the most was how aqua blue the water was.

Hunter Boots are such a staple for me when traveling, and they were perfect for this trip. Several of the hikes including muddy and wet terrain so I was happy I had them with me. This pair is the Tour Packable and if you travel a lot, I highly recommend them! They fold up almost flat and take up far less luggage space compared to the original. Packing for Alaska can be tricky, the weather changes by the day, so I planned for cold and warm with lots of layers. Most days were fairly warm with the nights being cooler. I bought this dress at the Nordstrom anniversary sale, and I kinda wish I would have purchased the cranberry color as well! It was so comfortable and perfect for my growing belly!
