Yellow in London

Yellow in London

Since my pregnancy, I haven’t been the best about posting! I realized I didn’t share any pictures from my London trip back in May. It was such a exciting time to be in London, we were there a week before the royal wedding! My amazing friend Jenny planned this girls trip for us and we made memories I will never forget!

One of my favorite areas in London has to be Notting Hill! Every corner is so quaint and you can escape the hustle and bustle of the big city. Wild at Heart is a beautiful florist with their outside display changing all the time. Let’s say I was not disappointed with the vibrate pink florals climbing up the building! Just Wow!

We started our morning at Granger&Co. There is always a line, but we got there pretty early so we only waited 20 or so minutes. You have to get the ricotta hotcakes! They are worth the hype, I substituted the bananas for strawberries and it was delicious! Honestly everything we ordered was great. I am a huge fan of hot chocolate, I try different versions everywhere I go, and Granger&Co did not disappoint!

Next we made our way to the Portobello Market and wandered around for a few hours. Jenny found a vintage Burberry coat for under $100! What a find! I watched Notting Hill on the plane ride over so it was fun visiting all the places I had just seen in the movie!

Had to stop by the famous blue door book store!

Next stop was Biscuiteers! Such a cute little biscuit shop. They had a special box made up in celebration of the upcoming Royal Wedding.

The majority of our day was spent walking aimlessly around Notting Hill looking for all the wisteria and mews we could find. If you ever find yourself in London, take an afternoon and enjoy the charm of Notting Hill!
