Sorry for the overload of pictures, but how could I not share these beautiful views! We spent one full day in the Highlands, and it was not near enough time. It was a LONG day. Our tour started at 6am and we got back to our room by 9pm! Totally worth it though! This was the only day we decided to do a guided tour, and I am glad we didn’t try to take on all this driving ourself. I think we would have been so lost! The tour we chose was nice, because it was only 12 people. It felt very intimate, and our guide was great!

I can not begin to explain how peaceful it is in the Highlands. You can drive for miles and not see anything but beautiful scenery. I know this sounds cheesy in a way, but it was a spiritual experience for me. I felt so close to God and His beautiful creation. What an amazing artist He is! It was an experience that I will never forget. If we ever get a chance to go back I would love to spend more time in the Highlands.

That is all for our trip to Scotland, hopefully you enjoyed looking at all our pictures! I absolutely fell in love with this place. It was everything I had hoped for and more. It was a quick 5 days, but it was so romantic and worth all the jetlag I am having right now. Next up is Italy!
